Designing a Digital Experience for Booking and Building Travel Programs

Context

A digital platform for booking holidays and travel programs, allowing travelers to explore ready-made packages or build their own itinerary based on their preferences. The challenge was to present a wide range of options within a clear and smooth experience, without making the process feel unnecessarily complex.

I redesigned the search and booking experience around the different ways travelers make decisions. A price-focused traveler needs to see the total cost clearly, while another may care more about location and check-in dates, and a family may need details such as room distribution. The experience was therefore structured to simplify navigation, improve comparison, and present the right information at the right point in the decision-making process.

The work also focused on the operational side of the platform. I structured the system to make it easier for the team to add travel programs, update information, manage content, and keep the platform current as destinations and offerings grow. The result was a clearer experience for travelers and a more flexible platform for ongoing management and development.
